Company History
Redlon's Supply was started in Bath, Maine in 1887. Redlon's was both a Wholesale Distributor of Plumbing Supplies as well as a Manufacturer of Plumbing Products (the Redlon Roof Flange and Redlon Closet Bend for example). Redlon's grew into Maine's largest Plumbing and Heating Distributor with locations throughout the State.
Johnson Supply was started in Portland, Maine in 1928, as a Wholesale Distributor of Plumbing, Heating, and Well Supplies. Johnson Supply was Portland's dominate Supply House for many years.

The company continued to grow throughout the 1990's thru acquisition, location openings, and higher sales growth.

Almost one hundred years later, in 1984, Redlon's Supply merged with Johnson Supply, to become Redlon & Johnson, Inc. In 1986, other locations in New England were merged with Redlon & Johnson, bringing additional plumbing, heating and industrial locations into the company. In 1987 a new Distribution Center and Headquarters were built in Portland. The company continued to grow throughout the 1990's thru acquisition, location openings, and higher sales growth.
With the beginning of the Year 2000 all our locations have changed their name to Redlon & Johnson. With locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia, Redlon & Johnson has become one of the nations leading Wholesale Distributors in Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, Water System, and Industrial Products.
